The Counseling and Psychological Support Department at the Nasiba bint Ka’b al-Ansariya Educational Center in the Gaza Strip held an awareness session for parents titled “Positive Parenting and Instilling Islamic Values in Children,” This coincides with preparations to welcome the first ten days of Dhu al-Hijjah and the unique atmosphere of faith and spirituality they bring.

The meeting addressed the importance of building a relationship based on love and acceptance between parents and children, And the role of the family in instilling Islamic values and good morals in children through setting a good example and providing positive guidance, Especially during these blessed days, which provide an opportunity to foster positive behaviors and draw closer to God as a family.
The meeting also featured a number of interactive, purposeful activities, Among the most notable of these is the “A Mother’s Letter to Her Child” initiative, The mothers described the wonderful qualities they love about their children, This created an atmosphere of love, appreciation, and emotional support.
The mothers also participated in an activity in which they wrote down the values they hope to instill in their children in the coming period, In addition, a group art activity was held to help participants express their emotions and relieve psychological stress in an atmosphere of interaction and positive energy.
The meeting concluded with an emphasis on the importance of maintaining positive communication between parents and children and fostering a supportive environment within the family, thereby contributing to the upbringing of children who possess strong values, good morals, and positive behavior.
