Who We Are?
About Wahet Almotmaenin
Wahet Almotmaenin is a specialized program dedicated to providing systematic psychological support to individuals and communities affected by crises and disasters, particularly in conflict and war zones. Wahet Almotmaenin was launched in response to the urgent need for specialized and effective psychological care for those affected by trauma and the pressures resulting from humanitarian crises.
Our journey began with a clear vision: to be a safe and supportive haven for all those suffering, and to offer our services wherever they are located, whether in refugee camps, displacement areas, schools, or affected local communities. We believe that mental health is a fundamental right for all, and that recovery from the impacts of crises requires specialized and systematic psychological support
Providing systematic and specialized psychological support services to individuals, families, and communities affected by crises, through therapeutic, awareness, and training programs based on the latest research and scientific practices. Our aim is to empower them to restore their psychological and social balance and build a more stable future.
To become a leading model in providing systematic, specialized, and comprehensive psychological support to those affected by crises and disasters in the Arab world, and to be a key reference in the field of psychological recovery

Who We Are?
Why Did We Start?
In the midst of crises and disasters, individuals face continuous threats of death, physical injuries, violence, destruction of their belongings, and displacement to harsh living conditions. These traumatic experiences leave psychological scars known as trauma, where individuals lose their sense of safety and experience helplessness, shock, and more complex conditions such as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, feelings of guilt, loss of interest in life, and many associated disorders such as insomnia and intense anger. In some cases, these may lead to self-harm or harm to others. From this perspective, 'Wahet Almotmaenin' was launched as a comprehensive mental health program aimed at reaching those affected in their places of residence and providing psychological support services efficiently and effectively, helping them overcome the effects of trauma and adapt to their new reality
